1. Who this policy applies to

This Privacy Policy applies to the Mine-Sweeper mobile application (the “App”) and the website at minesweeper.thedevbelowstairs.com (the “Website”), operated by Ashwani Gupta (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

2. Information the App stores

The App stores game data locally on your device. This includes scores and play records, expedition progress and results, achievements, and the preferences you choose for music, sound effects, vibration, and other in-game options.

This information is used to provide the App’s features and is not sent to us by the current App implementation. Deleting the App or clearing its stored data may delete this information.

3. Information we collect

The current App does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, user accounts, or a Mine-Sweeper server. We do not intentionally collect your name, precise location, contacts, photos, browsing history, or payment card details through the App.

If you contact us by email, we receive the email address and the contents of your message so that we can respond, provide support, and keep a limited record of the request. Please do not send sensitive personal information in a support email.

4. Apple services

On supported Apple devices, you may choose to use Apple Game Center for authentication, achievements, and the Game Center interface. Game Center is operated by Apple and is subject to Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. Mine-Sweeper requests only the access needed for the Game Center features you use.

The App may also use Apple’s App Store and StoreKit to process and verify the optional non-consumable “Full Game Unlock”. We do not receive or store your payment card number. Apple handles payment processing and provides the transaction or entitlement information needed to unlock the purchase.

5. Website information

This Website is a simple informational site. We do not provide an account system, newsletter signup form, advertising, or tracking pixels here. If the hosting provider generates standard technical logs, those logs are handled by the hosting provider under its own policies and are used for security and reliable operation.

6. Children’s privacy

The App is not designed to collect personal information from children. Because the App has no user accounts or advertising, it does not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the App’s features or data practices change. The “Last updated” date above will change when we publish a revision. If a future version introduces a materially different collection practice, we will describe it in the updated policy and, where appropriate, provide notice in the App.
