1. The service

Mine-Sweeper is a puzzle game developed by Ashwani Gupta. The App includes Classic Minesweeper, Expedition, Mineplacer, Chesssweeper, Puzzle Chambers, and related settings, score, achievement, and progress features. The Website provides information and support for the App.

The iOS release is currently in App Store review. Availability, supported devices, and features may change before or after release.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

You may use the App and Website for personal, lawful entertainment and informational purposes. You must not misuse the App, interfere with its operation, attempt to reverse engineer or bypass purchase verification, use automated methods to abuse the Website, or use the App or Website to violate another person’s rights or any applicable law.

3. Purchases

The App may offer a non-consumable “Full Game Unlock” through Apple’s App Store. The purchase unlocks the content described in the App and is subject to Apple’s payment, refund, and store terms. The current game design keeps Novice and Easy Classic, Novice and Easy Mineplacer, Pip and Mira, the first eight Chesssweeper puzzles, and Puzzle Chambers I–VIII free; the content included with a release may be adjusted before launch.

Purchase access is verified through Apple’s current entitlement. We do not treat a local setting as proof of purchase. For billing, refunds, or transaction problems, use Apple’s App Store support and purchase-management flows.

4. Intellectual property

The App, Website, visual design, game content, original code, and associated materials are owned by or licensed to Ashwani Gupta and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App as made available through the App Store. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

5. Third-party services

The App may integrate with Apple services such as the App Store, StoreKit, and Game Center. Those services are provided by Apple and may have separate terms, privacy practices, availability, and requirements. You are responsible for complying with the terms that apply to your Apple account and device.

6. Availability and updates

We may update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App or Website, including individual modes, servers, links, or Apple service integrations. We may also release updates that change balancing, content, compatibility, or requirements. We do not guarantee that the App or Website will always be available or error-free.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App and Website are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that they will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors. We are not responsible for loss of locally stored game data caused by device failure, operating-system changes, deletion of the App, or your device settings.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited under the laws that apply to you. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ashwani Gupta will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App or Website.

8. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the App or Website changes. The “Last updated” date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an updated version is published means you accept the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.
